On Friday 7th April the APCM took place. The Electoral roll now has 70 on it (up from 58 last year and 50 the year before) but forms can be obtained from the church to join at any time. At 7.30pm the open Vestry Meeting to elect two Churchwardens (the prerogative of the whole parish) elected Gordon measures and John Whitney. < After this is the APCM at which those on the Electoral Roll are entitles to vote.
The Winter Welly Walk on the 18th February 2006 had great weather and was very well attended. We tromped on a 4.5-5 mile circular route along the headland, the tracks, up to Beacon Hill and back round the paths to footpath 17 and 19. In muddy conditions the 2 hours was just about right to really appreciate the home-made soup and rolls laid on at the end!
